Jaguar Uranium Reports Early Mineralization at Huemul Project

Jaguar Uranium has identified high-grade uranium, copper, and vanadium mineralization during an initial two-week sampling program at its Huemul project in Argentina. The company reported preliminary assay values exceeding 25,000 ppm for both uranium and copper, while also uncovering a potential four-kilometre copper trend across the district-scale site.

The sampling program, which included 188 channel and rock chip samples, targeted eight distinct areas within the 27,000-hectare project in Mendoza Province. Field observations at locations such as the Uryco and Rosa zones align with historical reports of the region, which once hosted Argentina's first uranium mine. Notably, the campaign included the first systematic sampling of historic mine dumps in the area.

While early results are promising, the company emphasized that these findings are preliminary. Because the sampling was selective and focused on visible mineralization, the reported grades may be biased toward higher concentrations. Several samples hit the upper detection limit of 25,000 ppm, necessitating further reanalysis to determine final grades. Jaguar CEO Steven Gold stated that the firm is now planning a targeted drill program to better define the scale and continuity of the mineralized system.
