This latest award marks the second time the site has secured the refurbishment contract for the U.S. government, validating the technical expertise of the 500 local employees stationed there.

Frédéric Lefebvre, vice president of Customer Service Operations at Pratt & Whitney Canada, noted that the maintenance work is critical to keeping trainer aircraft available for incoming classes of aviators. Chris Abrams, vice president of V2X Aerospace Solutions, cited the long-standing collaboration between the two firms as a primary reason for the partnership’s continued success. The agreement reinforces a sustainment model that keeps the T-6 fleet operational through the Contractor Operated and Maintained Base Supply program.
