CEO Marc Schegerin pointed to Migausky’s track record in guiding companies through high-stakes events, including IPOs and multi-billion-dollar acquisitions, as the catalyst for the hire. Migausky will now oversee all legal, compliance, and administrative functions, providing the structural oversight needed to scale the organization. Before taking this role, Migausky served as Chief Legal Officer at Cardurion Pharmaceuticals and held a similar senior position at Imara, Inc., where he navigated the company through its merger with Enliven Therapeutics.
His background also includes a pivotal role as General Counsel at ArQule, Inc., where he helped manage the company’s $2.7 billion acquisition by Merck. Migausky’s expertise in securities law and corporate governance is intended to fortify Talawar as it transitions from a research-focused entity into clinical-stage operations. The company is currently focused on TALA-125, an anti-IL-13 x anti-IL-18 bispecific antibody designed to address limitations in current immunology and inflammatory disease treatments.
