Marta Magnuszewska Named NICB Chief Information and Technology Officer

With over two decades of experience navigating insurance industry modernization, Marta Magnuszewska has joined the National Insurance Crime Bureau as Senior Vice President and Chief Information and Technology Officer. She assumes the role effective July 20, tasked with steering the organization's AI innovation, cybersecurity, and enterprise data strategy.

Magnuszewska arrives at the Oak Brook-based organization following a tenure at Markel Insurance Corporation, where she served as Vice President of Claims Transformation, Data Analytics and AI. Her career includes leadership positions at The Hartford, John Bean Technologies, and Allstate Insurance, focusing on predictive modeling and claims ecosystem optimization. NICB President and CEO David J. Glawe highlighted her background in scaling fraud analytics as a critical asset for the bureau's ongoing efforts to prosecute and prevent insurance crime.

In her new capacity, Magnuszewska oversees the information technology infrastructure, application development, and the data science team. Her mandate involves refining the bureau's data governance and AI roadmaps to support its 1,200 member insurance companies. She holds degrees from DePaul and Northwestern universities, complemented by specialized executive training in agentic AI and leadership at institutions including MIT and the Wisconsin School of Business.
