The Moorpark facility, which opened its gates on July 13, represents a strategic push to bring the company’s vertically integrated model closer to local residents. Unlike nurseries that rely on seasonal growing cycles, the company utilizes a proprietary container-growing method that allows for year-round planting. CEO Brian Flood emphasized that the new location moves beyond simple retail, focusing instead on regional challenges like firescaping for hillside homes and erosion control on sloped lots.
Beyond its inventory of over 200 tree and shrub varieties, the site functions as a full-service hub for both retail consumers and wholesale partners, including architects and homebuilders. The nursery offers a comprehensive suite of products ranging from specialized fertilizers and soils to decorative pottery and sculptures. Operating seven days a week, the team provides end-to-end support, including landscape design consultations and white-glove installation services for the greater Ventura County region.
