The Oakland, Maryland-based financial institution saw its GAAP-based net income dip from the $6.0 million reported in the second quarter of 2025. Excluding the non-recurring consulting fees, the corporation recorded a non-GAAP net income of $7.3 million for the quarter. President and CEO Jason Rush attributed the underlying strength of the results to a resilient net interest margin and consistent growth within the wealth management division.

Operational highlights included a 3.98% net interest margin on a non-GAAP, fully tax-equivalent basis, bolstered by rising loan yields and reduced funding costs. The bank reported robust activity in its lending pipeline, with $66.0 million in commercial loan originations and $33.9 million in residential mortgages. While operating expenses rose by $2.1 million compared to the previous quarter due to the consulting investment, management noted that these initiatives are intended to improve long-term operational efficiency. The board declared a cash dividend of $0.26 per share for the period.
