Zillow Investors Face August Deadline in Securities Fraud Lawsuit

Investors who purchased Zillow Group Class A or Class C common stock between February 11, 2025, and May 7, 2026, have until August 10, 2026, to move the court to serve as lead plaintiff in a pending securities class action filed by The Rosen Law Firm.

The lawsuit alleges that Zillow misled shareholders regarding the nature of its agreement with Redfin Corporation. According to the complaint, the deal was an acquisition of Redfin’s business rather than the partnership described by company leadership. Plaintiffs contend this misrepresentation obscured significant risks of antitrust regulatory scrutiny. The filing further claims that Zillow executives continued to downplay their legal exposure even after antitrust litigation was initiated, causing damage to investors when the true nature of the agreement eventually reached the market.

While the court has not yet certified a class, investors may choose to participate by retaining counsel or acting through a representative lead plaintiff. Interested parties can contact Phillip Kim at The Rosen Law Firm to join the action. Participation as a lead plaintiff is not required to share in a potential future recovery, and investors retain the right to select their own legal representation.
