According to the platform’s founder, Chaz Desousa, traditional lending metrics suggest a sustainable purchase price for a typical family is closer to $500,000.

To bridge this gap, the platform employs the 'CHA Approach,' a methodology that balances replacement costs and traditional market comparables with an income-to-value pivot designed to identify speculative bubbles. By contextualizing current figures against historical data—such as the 8% average interest rate recorded since 1951—the initiative aims to shift the focus from rapid price growth to long-term sustainability. The site now offers specialized tools, including calculators for welcome taxes and debt service coverage, supporting users in English, French, and Spanish.
