Raytheon Secures $1.8 Billion Navy Radar Contract

The agreement encompasses a mix of fixed-price incentive and firm-fixed-price structures, ensuring the defense contractor maintains steady output for the sophisticated radar systems. These units serve as a critical component in the Navy’s modernization strategy, providing advanced detection and tracking capabilities for surface combatants.

Production efforts under this modification are scheduled to conclude in July 2031. However, the timeline remains flexible, with provisions allowing the Navy to exercise additional options that could extend the contract work through October 2031.
