Acron Aviation to Supply Avionics for Deutsche Aircraft D328eco

St. Petersburg-based Acron Aviation has secured a long-term supply agreement with Deutsche Aircraft to provide flight recorder and standby instrumentation for the D328eco. This partnership integrates safety-critical avionics into the German manufacturer’s 40-seat regional turboprop as it moves toward a scheduled 2027 entry into service.

The deal equips the D328eco with Acron’s 25-hour recorder technology, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and meet modern regulatory standards. For Deutsche Aircraft, the selection of these systems is a strategic step in maturing the industrial ecosystem surrounding the new aircraft, which is being produced at a carbon-neutral facility at Leipzig/Halle Airport.

Ron Nye, president of Acron Aviation, described the agreement as a foundation for long-term collaboration focused on advancing regional aviation. Patricia Ferrari, vice president of supply chain at Deutsche Aircraft, noted that integrating proven safety-critical avionics is essential for the program's success. The D328eco, which builds on the legacy of the Dornier 328, is currently slated for its first flight in 2026, with full production readiness targeted for early 2027.
