Caring Senior Service Opens West Houston Branch

As Houston’s population of residents aged 65 and older reaches 12.3%, a new home care facility has opened at 5600 NW Central Dr. in Spring Valley Village. Owners Caleb Drew and Thazin Min Htet aim to provide personalized, non-medical support for seniors while alleviating the emotional burden on family caregivers.

The husband-and-wife team transitioned into the care industry after managing the personal health needs of their own aging grandparents. Drew, formerly an industrial engineer, and Htet, a former legal assistant, intend to prioritize long-term client relationships over transactional service models. Their office provides companion care, condition-specific assistance, and specialized support for military veterans.

Company founder Jeff Salter noted that the expansion addresses the urgent demand for reliable in-home services in the region. By focusing on caregiver respect and dignity for the elderly, the couple hopes to establish a community resource that allows seniors to maintain independence in their own homes. This location marks another step in the growth of the San Antonio-based franchise, which now operates over 50 offices across the United States.
