The acquisition bridges a persistent gap for global giants like AB InBev, Coca-Cola, and Unilever, who have long struggled to track sales across more than 10 million analog stores. By folding Frontline’s regional intelligence into its existing suite—Lattice, Strata, and Overwatch—Native aims to connect commercial strategy directly to measurable retail outcomes. Native’s CEO Matt McNabb described the move as a shift from simple research to creating a proprietary data asset that powers automated, agentic workflows in the field.
Frontline CEO Sean Barnes, who will join Native as Chief Strategy Officer, noted that pairing regional data with Native’s 3D Store Graph technology offers a level of visibility previously unavailable in traditional trade environments. The deal expands Native’s footprint beyond Latin America, signaling a broader push to digitize the world's most complex offline consumer markets. While financial terms remain undisclosed, the integration marks a significant consolidation of retail intelligence in a region where 80% of trade still occurs outside modern, digitized retail chains.
