The presentation, titled "enVast thrombectomy device as adjunctive reperfusion modality in ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction," will be delivered by Dr. Marco Valgimigli of the Cardiocentro Ticino Institute. Selected for the prestigious Late-Breaking Clinical Trials session, the study focuses on optimizing management for acute myocardial infarction, a critical area of interest for the global interventional cardiology community.
Steve Rybka, CEO of Dallas-based Vesalio, described the selection as a milestone for the company and the investigators involved in the multicenter trial. The NATURE study, registered under NCT04969471, assesses the safety and effectiveness of the enVast device when used before conventional PCI. With Vesalio’s platforms currently utilized in over 60 countries to treat thromboembolic vascular disease, the findings are expected to influence discussions on clinical outcomes for patients with significant thrombus burden.
