Marsh Reports Revenue Growth Amid Strong Consulting Performance

Marsh outperformed Wall Street expectations in the second quarter, posting $7.4 billion in revenue as its core risk, insurance, and consulting divisions maintained steady momentum. The professional-services firm navigated a complex market to deliver a quarterly profit of $1.27 billion, signaling resilience across its primary business segments.

Marsh Reports Revenue Growth Amid Strong Consulting Performance

The company reported earnings of $2.63 per share, an increase from the $2.45 per share recorded during the same period last year. When excluding one-time items, adjusted earnings reached $2.96 per share, surpassing the $2.90 estimate anticipated by analysts polled by FactSet.

Total revenue climbed 6% to $7.4 billion, comfortably clearing the $7.28 billion forecast set by market models. The firm’s risk and insurance-services unit generated $4.82 billion in revenue, marking a 4% increase over the previous year. Meanwhile, the consulting arm saw a 6% rise in revenue, contributing to the firm's broader financial gains.
