Dr. Beri brings a deep background in CMC strategy and technical operations to the CDMO, having previously held executive roles at Lonza Biologics, Immunovant, Goodwin Biotech, and Senda Biosciences. At Wheeler Bio, he will oversee the company's development organization, specifically focusing on the firm’s proprietary ModularCMC platform. His mandate includes refining the transition from cell line development through to drug substance and product manufacturing.

Patrick Lucy, President and CEO of Wheeler Bio, stated that the addition of Beri is intended to improve execution in process, formulation, and analytical development. Beri holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and is expected to drive the company’s efforts to reduce risks for partners while accelerating timelines for clinical and commercial-focused projects.
