The survey of 22 neuro-oncologists across 17 institutions analyzed 49 distinct cases of central nervous system disease. Findings reveal that the test provides actionable data regardless of whether variants are detected, helping physicians finalize diagnoses, select specific treatments, and manage patient expectations. Clinicians reported high levels of trust in the results, with 96% stating they would order the test again.

By facilitating molecular profiling without the risks associated with surgical biopsy, the platform offers a critical alternative for patients where tissue extraction is deemed unsafe or infeasible. This study validates the utility of the Chicago-based company's approach, which relies on technology developed over a decade of research at Johns Hopkins to extract genomic insights from standard lumbar punctures.
