The collaboration integrates SFBU into the club’s game-day experience at PayPal Park, featuring promotional booths across eight home matches through 2027 and dedicated radio spots during broadcasts. Beyond stadium visibility, the university will co-host the Quakes Chalk Talk networking series and a themed College Night on September 12, when the Earthquakes host the Houston Dynamo.
SFBU President Nick Ladany emphasized that the partnership mirrors the university’s push for real-world career outcomes, particularly through the Quakes University program. Since its inception in 2018, the internship initiative has offered students hands-on experience in ticket sales and operations. SFBU’s backing will support two annual classes of six interns, providing a pipeline for local students to gain industry-aligned competencies. For the Earthquakes, the agreement aligns with a broader strategy of community investment, as the club currently balances a competitive season in the MLS Western Conference with its long-standing youth and health initiatives.
