Elephas and Invitrocue Partner to Advance Personalized Oncology in Asia

A strategic alliance between Madison-based Elephas Biosciences and Singapore’s Invitrocue aims to transform cancer treatment across Southeast Asia by integrating live tissue diagnostics with genomic profiling. The partnership leverages Invitrocue’s established laboratory network to deploy the elive platform, targeting improved immunotherapy response predictions for patients in Singapore and Malaysia.

The collaboration unites Invitrocue’s Onco-PDO functional drug testing and comprehensive genomic profiling with the Elephas elive platform. By preserving the native tumor microenvironment from live core needle biopsies, the elive system provides researchers and clinicians with real-time insights into how tumors react to immunotherapy. This integration addresses a critical gap in oncology, where currently only one in five patients responds to existing immunotherapy treatments.

Invitrocue will utilize its Angsana Molecular & Diagnostics Laboratory in Singapore as the primary hub for this expansion. Maneesh Arora, CEO of Elephas, noted that the move provides a significant opportunity to broaden functional cancer care in the region. Dr. Steven Fang, CEO of Invitrocue, emphasized that combining functional response data with existing diagnostic tools will allow for more precise treatment decisions, potentially setting a new standard for personalized oncology research in the territory.
