Expert Traffic Control Acquired by Right Traffic in Regional Expansion

Right Traffic has acquired Oregon-based Expert Traffic Control, a move designed to bolster the buyer's regional footprint in the Pacific Northwest. The transaction, facilitated by boutique investment bank Boxwood Partners, integrates a key infrastructure services provider into Right Traffic’s broader North American platform.

Expert Traffic Control, which has operated in the Pacific Northwest for four years, provides specialized work zone safety and traffic management services to the utility, telecommunications, and transportation sectors. Company leadership, including President Pete Nelson and Co-owner Nick Whitehead, noted that the partnership aligns with their existing safety-first culture and offers new growth opportunities for their workforce.

Managing Director Robbie Nickle led the advisory team at Boxwood Partners, which included Jaylan Hewitt and Jason Neff. Legal counsel for the transaction was provided by Matthew Lastinger, Ryan Divers, and Amanda Anderson of Hill Ward Henderson. Trevor Romkey, CEO of Right Traffic, stated that the acquisition is part of a wider strategy to incorporate regional operators that share the firm's focus on operational excellence and infrastructure safety.
