Since 2021, Jones has directed the complex integration of Iridium’s sophisticated communication systems. His path to this leadership role was built on a foundation of systems engineering and rigorous software testing, including a previous stint as Director of SV Software Engineering at the firm. His technical expertise traces back to his early career, underpinned by an Associate of Arts in Electronics Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management from DeVry University.

Beyond his corporate contributions, Jones is shifting his focus toward mentorship and the future of the engineering workforce. He intends to bridge existing educational gaps by teaching specialized courses and advocating for the integration of testing protocols into university curricula. By sharing the values of resourcefulness instilled by his parents, he aims to prepare the next generation of engineers to tackle the evolving challenges of satellite testing and software development.
