Fulton Financial Adds David S. Schulz to Board of Directors

Fulton Financial Corporation is expanding its leadership oversight, appointing former Wesco International executive David S. Schulz to its board of directors. His term begins September 14, 2026, marking a strategic move to bolster the firm’s financial and risk management expertise as it pursues ongoing regional growth.

Schulz joins the board with a background spanning over a decade of executive service at publicly traded firms. During his tenure at Wesco International, he served as Chief Financial Officer and later as Special Advisor to the CEO, a role he held until his retirement in May 2026. His career also includes senior financial positions at Armstrong Flooring, Armstrong World Industries, Procter & Gamble, and The J.M. Smucker Company, as well as service as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.

With this appointment, Fulton’s board expands to 11 members. Schulz will take seats on the company’s Audit and Risk committees and will also serve on the board of the firm’s banking subsidiary, Fulton Bank, N.A. Curt Myers, Chairman and CEO of the Lancaster-based holding company, noted that Schulz’s experience in mergers, acquisitions, and strategic planning will prove essential as the bank manages its $34 billion portfolio across five states. Schulz currently also sits on the board of Sterling Infrastructure, where he chairs the audit committee.
