The litigation centers on claims that GRAIL repeatedly touted the NHS-Galleri trial as optimally designed to reduce late-stage cancer diagnoses within a three-year window. According to the complaint, the company concealed internal data trends suggesting this timeframe was insufficient to reach primary endpoints while selectively promoting favorable results to maintain investor confidence. When the trial ultimately failed to meet its goals, management conceded that a longer follow-up period should have been implemented.
Reed Kathrein, the Hagens Berman partner leading the investigation, stated the firm is now scrutinizing exactly when company leadership realized the three-year duration was inadequate. Investors who acquired shares between May 13, 2025, and February 19, 2026, have until August 4, 2026, to move for appointment as lead plaintiff in the ongoing action. The firm is also seeking information from whistleblowers familiar with the internal decision-making process during the study.
