Founder Ralph Andrew cited the need for a partner who understood the company’s roots in the Fort Myers community and its reliance on a dedicated local workforce. Crest Rock, which focuses on lower middle-market acquisitions, intends to apply its operational expertise to scale the contractor’s existing capabilities in water, sewer, and drainage infrastructure.
Andrew Carlin, a principal at Crest Rock, noted that the firm was drawn to the company’s reputation for executing complex municipal projects, ranging from routine retrofits to critical emergency repairs. For Hyde Park Capital, the deal underscores a broader trend of private investment into specialized utility contractors with strong public-sector track records. The partnership aims to accelerate ASW’s growth while maintaining its established service standards across Southwest Florida.
