Yili Group Gathers International Talent for Hohhot Summit

Fifty-two top-performing employees from six countries descended on Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, this July for Yili Group’s second Global Elite Summit. The four-day event focused on integrating the company’s international workforce through a mix of cultural immersion, industrial site visits, and shared team-building exercises in the heart of China.

Chairman and President Pan Gang welcomed the delegates by participating in a traditional dragon eye-dotting ceremony, marking the start of a program designed to solidify Yili’s global strategy. During his address, Pan emphasized that the company’s expansion depends on offering its diverse international staff clear pathways for career growth and professional development.

The delegation toured the Yili Modern Intelligent Health Valley, where they examined the integration of digital manufacturing and rigorous research standards across the supply chain. For many, witnessing the company’s technical infrastructure provided a tangible link between corporate strategy and local market operations. One Indonesian employee noted that the visit offered a clearer perspective on maintaining premium quality standards for consumers back home.

Beyond technical tours, the summit emphasized cross-cultural collaboration. Participants engaged in local customs, including a joint dragon dance performance that served as a centerpiece for team cohesion. By facilitating these exchanges, Yili aims to foster a unified corporate culture that transcends geographic and linguistic boundaries, positioning its international talent as a core driver for its future growth in the global health sector.
