Sinch Revenue Gains Momentum as Americas Market Outpaces Global Slump

Sinch AB posted a 6 percent organic revenue increase for the second quarter of 2026, reaching SEK 6,866 million. Growth was anchored by the Americas, which now accounts for 66 percent of the company's gross profit, even as operational headwinds and stagnant performance in the APAC and EMEA regions constrained global results.

The Stockholm-based communications firm reported an EBITDA of SEK 824 million, representing a 7 percent organic increase compared to the previous year. Acting CEO and CFO Jonas Dahlberg attributed the regional success in the Americas to high demand from US technology firms integrating AI and the successful transition to IP-based transmission technology within the company’s network voice business. While the Americas flourished with a 10 percent organic gross profit growth, the company faced a bleaker outlook elsewhere. Combined revenue growth across APAC and EMEA remained flat, with APAC specifically impacted by temporary market challenges and ongoing operational difficulties in India.

Alongside the financial results, the company is undergoing a significant leadership transition. Following the departure of Laurinda Pang, Jonas Dahlberg has stepped in as acting CEO to steer the firm’s next phase of growth. The executive team has been further bolstered by the appointments of Jonathan Bean as EVP of EMEA and Global Partnerships and Sophie Cheng as Chief Marketing Officer. These shifts coincide with a period of industry recognition, as Sinch secured a leader position in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for CPaaS for the fourth consecutive year, alongside new partnerships with agentic AI developer Cursor.
