The system is designed for a broad range of general procedures, specifically gastric bypass, gastric sleeve, small-bowel resection, appendectomy, and hiatal-hernia repair. By integrating the robotics into the table itself, the New Brunswick-based firm aims to streamline the surgical environment.
Commercial rollout begins immediately with select U.S. customers. The company intends to prioritize early success in these initial clinical settings before expanding the system’s use to additional medical indications and seeking entry into further regulatory jurisdictions.
