The strategic additions arrive as the company shifts its focus from traditional malware removal toward a comprehensive digital life protection platform. CEO Marcin Kleczynski noted that modern cybersecurity now demands proactive identity and scam protection, a pivot the company initiated several years ago to address the evolving threat landscape.

Michael Weissman joins the board with a background in scaling consumer-facing platforms, having served as CEO of Netspend and SoundCloud, as well as COO of Vimeo. His expertise in fintech and subscription models is expected to guide the company's expansion into new consumer markets. Simultaneously, Joey Klein steps into the role of SVP of Product following product leadership tenures at Hippo Insurance and Green Chef. Klein is tasked with simplifying the user experience to ensure that complex security tools remain accessible for everyday consumers.
