The acquisition brings four Blackhawks and one Bell 407 into the Fundamental portfolio, raising its total fleet to 24 helicopters. Beyond the aircraft, the transaction integrates BlueSky’s in-house maintenance division, a move intended to increase operational uptime for the firm’s broader aviation assets.
Ryan Keane, Senior Managing Director at Fundamental, noted that the move strengthens relationships with public safety agencies and utility providers in a critical region. Bryan Robinson, CEO of BlueSky, cited the need for expanded resources to support the company’s ongoing mission-critical work. Since launching its helicopter strategy in 2025, Fundamental has focused on consolidating fragmented operators that provide essential emergency response and infrastructure support.
