Zion Shores Taps Ember Stays for Exclusive Resort Management

Zion Shores, the Southern Utah surf community currently under development, has named Ember Stays its exclusive vacation rental management partner. The agreement integrates Ember’s co-ownership platform into the resort's sales strategy, aiming to streamline property maintenance and guest services for the project’s luxury residential inventory.

The partnership focuses on a dual-track strategy for the Washington, Utah site. Beyond standard rental management—including marketing, housekeeping, and maintenance—Ember will facilitate co-ownership opportunities for prospective buyers. This model allows individuals to purchase deeded shares of luxury residences rather than full properties, a strategy Zion Shores CEO Cody Larkin believes will better connect buyers with the resort’s high-end, water-focused lifestyle.

Zion Shores is anchored by a 12-acre water infrastructure project featuring the world’s largest PerfectSwell surf pool and two additional UNIT surf pools. As the community moves toward completion, Ember Stays will manage the accompanying townhomes and vacation residences. Ember’s local operations, already established in the St. George area, will handle the logistical requirements of the resort’s hospitality program. Kurt Avarell, CEO of Ember, noted that the collaboration provides a blueprint for resort developers looking to pair fractional ownership platforms with long-term professional property management to support both sales and post-closing operations.
