The report, developed with Altermind, introduces hybrid workforce orchestration as a management discipline for the next decade. This model focuses on integrating people, AI agents, and physical automation to maximize impact. While AI is altering tasks rapidly, the transition remains uneven; between 2022 and 2025, 1.9 million new AI-related roles emerged, yet only 18% of U.S. firms and 20% of European companies have scaled AI across core operations.
Denis Machuel, CEO of the Adecco Group, emphasized that the next phase of the digital transition will be won by redesigning work rather than merely adopting tools. He noted that while technology provides capability, organizations must define how skills evolve and how value is measured to remain competitive. The Adecco Group intends to lead this shift by focusing on the human side of the transformation, ensuring that personnel effectively collaborate with AI agents to drive organizational growth.
