The application monitors AIS data to detect vessel speed drops or drifting incidents, triggering instant alerts for dispatchers. This shift bypasses the lag of traditional communication channels, allowing operators to review and authorize route adjustments directly from their mobile devices. During pre-launch testing, the window for proposing and confirming route changes plummeted from 24 hours to approximately 6 hours.
Beyond speed, the platform maintains synchronization between mobile and desktop environments to keep entire shipping teams aligned. President Tomohiro Ishibashi plans to scale the app’s utility beyond dispatch, targeting departments like chartering and environmental management to foster broader efficiency across the industry. The service integrates high-resolution wind and wave forecasting, providing the necessary data for rapid decision-making while personnel are away from their workstations.
