HydraForce and Elevāt Enable Remote Updates for Bosch Rexroth Controllers

Off-highway equipment operators can now perform over-the-air software updates on Bosch Rexroth BODAS controllers without on-site service calls. The new capability results from an integration between the HydraForce Connected Control Unit and the Elevāt industrial IoT platform, marking a shift toward proactive machine management.

The integration allows original equipment manufacturers to diagnose mechanical issues and deploy critical software patches remotely. By removing the need for technicians to physically access machines in the field, companies can reduce operational downtime and improve overall serviceability for equipment used in sectors such as mining, forestry, and construction.

Russ Schneidewind, director of business development at HydraForce, stated that the cooperation bridges the gap between hydraulics, electronics, and digital services. Adam Livesay, CEO of Elevāt, described the update as a move toward a fully integrated ecosystem that helps manufacturers accelerate software deployment and create new recurring value for their customers. The companies plan to expand these remote management capabilities further in future releases.
