The Pennsylvania-based bank saw its diluted earnings per share climb to $1.02, an 8.5% increase over the previous quarter. CEO Chris McComish attributed the performance to disciplined execution, noting that the results were bolstered by favorable asset quality and consistent loan growth. Specifically, total portfolio loans grew by $99 million during the quarter, driven largely by gains in the commercial and industrial sectors.

While customer deposits remained stable, overall deposit levels saw a slight dip of $99.1 million, a move primarily tied to a reduction in brokered deposits. Asset quality showed marked improvement as nonperforming assets fell by $9.7 million to $40.2 million. In a move to manage capital, the board of directors initiated a new $100 million share repurchase program effective July 27, replacing the prior plan. The bank’s net interest margin also saw a modest expansion, rising 7 basis points to 3.99% compared to the first quarter of 2026.
