The booth serves as the primary hub for MindWare’s current slate, featuring hands-on demos and the company’s first entry into the official Gen Con Pin Bazaar. Attendees can test their luck with an oversized dice tower to play Peggy Brown’s cooperative game, Down the Waterspout, or explore new strategy titles. Along with Knizia’s Trail to the Temple, the company is showcasing Seeker of Spells, a tactical game from British designer Ellie Dix that tasks players with navigating a modular forest board as mushroom wizards.
While most ticketed playthroughs have reached capacity, the booth remains open for walk-up demonstrations throughout the event. For those looking to dive deeper into the mechanics, MindWare will host additional sessions for both Trail to the Temple and Seeker of Spells at the Dice Tower Booth (#249) on August 1. Collectors can also secure limited-edition pins featuring the Mushroom Wizard and the Crystal Skull, available exclusively at the show while supplies last.
