With two decades of experience navigating the complexities of federal procurement and defense litigation, Anuj Vohra has joined Arlington-based Air as its new General Counsel. Vohra transitions to the company from Crowell & Moring LLP, where he served as a partner specializing in government contracts and bid protests. His resume includes an eight-year tenure at that firm, preceded by a role as Special Counsel at Covington & Burling. His background also features nearly six years as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, where he litigated breach of contract cases before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

CEO Tara Murphy Dougherty indicated that Vohra’s specific expertise in regulatory compliance is a strategic necessity as the company scales its Enterprise Readiness platform. Air, formerly known as Govini, reached unicorn status in 2025 and currently provides AI-native systems to military branches and federal agencies. In his new capacity, Vohra will manage corporate governance, compliance protocols, and the legal navigation of government contracts to ensure the organization remains synchronized with the rigorous operational demands of the defense ecosystem.
