A 12% jump in share price to $184.48 signals investor confidence in Kaiser Aluminum, which surged following a robust second-quarter report. Net income climbed to $96.8 million, or $5.72 per share, a sharp increase from the $23.2 million reported during the same period last year. Revenue followed a similar trajectory, rising 53% to $1.26 billion and comfortably surpassing the $1.12 billion forecast by FactSet analysts. Adjusted earnings per share reached $5.53, more than doubling the $2.66 consensus estimate.

Chief Executive Keith Harvey attributed the results to a high-value packaging mix and favorable scrap spreads. Looking forward, the company raised its adjusted EBITDA outlook to a projected 45% to 55% year-over-year increase. Conversion revenue for fiscal 2026 is now expected to hit the upper threshold of the previously announced 10% to 15% growth range.
