A 30-year industry veteran has been appointed to head Cetera Financial Specialists, the tax-centric division of the firm’s wealth management network. Bartlett joins the firm following his tenure as Senior Vice President of Advisors at Choreo, where he managed organizational strategy. His career has been largely defined by the integration of tax expertise with wealth management, including a previous role at Creative Planning/Wipfli Financial Advisors. There, he led a team of 70 professionals managing approximately $5 billion in assets for high-net-worth clients.

Andy Watts, leader of the Cetera Tax & Accounting channel, cited Bartlett’s execution-oriented leadership and strategic alignment with the firm's culture as primary factors in the selection. The appointment aims to bolster the existing CFS leadership team while maintaining continuity for advisors who operate at the intersection of tax planning and financial advisory services. Bartlett, a graduate of the University of Iowa, holds a FINRA Series 66 license and will focus his initial efforts on deepening relationships with current CFS advisors to scale their individual practices.
