Kessler Topaz Launches Investigation into HCA Healthcare Losses

A 6% drop in HCA Healthcare stock following a downward revision of annual profit guidance has triggered a formal investigation by the law firm Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check. The inquiry focuses on potential federal securities law violations after the company reported a $400 million revenue hit last quarter.

The Radnor-based litigation firm is currently seeking contact from investors who sustained financial losses after HCA released its preliminary second-quarter results on July 14, 2026. The company attributed the shortfall to an unfavorable shift in its payer mix, a disclosure that immediately rattled the market and prompted the double-digit share decline.

Attorney Jonathan Naji is leading the outreach for the firm, which specializes in securities-fraud class actions. Investors are being encouraged to review their legal rights regarding the potential recovery of losses. The firm, recognized in the Chambers & Partners USA 2026 rankings, has previously secured over $25 billion in client recoveries and is now evaluating whether HCA’s public disclosures adequately informed shareholders of the risks impacting its financial performance.
