The initiative, dubbed the AI-Native Challenge, moved beyond the engineering department to include staff across the entire organization. By leveraging OpenAI’s generative tools, participants managed the full development lifecycle from initial planning and coding to final documentation and deployment. The company intends to integrate these internal gains into its existing product roadmap, specifically focusing on the AI Receptionist, AI Virtual Assistant, and AI Conversation Expert offerings.
Beyond its internal focus, RingCentral solidified its external market position by expanding its strategic alliance with NiCE. The new multiyear agreement establishes a reciprocal sales relationship, with NiCE serving as a reseller for the RingEX unified communications platform. Simultaneously, the two companies extended their commitment to the RingCentral Contact Center, which is powered by NiCE CXone, by an additional year. While both firms move toward a tighter integration of their enterprise communication and customer experience portfolios, the financial details of these agreements remain undisclosed.
