The upcoming collection will feature prominent AAA talent, including Psycho Clown, El Hijo del Vikingo, La Parka, and Mr. Iguana. These figures are set to join Mattel’s established WWE product line, signaling a strategic effort to consolidate the company's hold on the wrestling collectible market. Nick Karamanos, Mattel’s general manager of entertainment partnerships, noted that the move represents the next phase of the company's sports entertainment strategy.

Fans attending San Diego Comic-Con will get an early look at the collaboration when the company debuts a made-to-order Mr. Iguana figure. By integrating the vibrant aesthetics of Lucha Libre into their global distribution network, Mattel aims to leverage the cultural reach of the Mexican promotion to broaden its appeal among international collectors.
