OneConstruction Group Reports $13.2 Million Annual Loss

Hong Kong-based structural steelwork contractor OneConstruction Group Limited reported a net loss of $13.2 million for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, marking a sharp reversal from the $0.9 million profit recorded in the previous year as revenue declined amid shifting public sector project demand.

Revenue for the period slid 7.2% to $49.4 million, down from $53.2 million in 2025. The company attributed this downturn primarily to decreased activity in structural steelworks for Hong Kong Housing Authority residential projects, though this was partially mitigated by stronger performance in infrastructure and public facilities work.

Operational costs weighed heavily on the balance sheet throughout the year. Administrative expenses rose by 62.4% to $3.6 million, driven by higher staff costs, office leasing expenses, and increased insurance premiums following the company’s initial public offering. Additionally, the firm recognized $1.49 million in share-based compensation expenses tied to the 2025 Equity Incentive Plan, which granted 3,000,000 share options to employees. By the end of the fiscal year, shareholders' equity had contracted to $0.3 million, with the company reporting basic and diluted losses per share of $0.84.
