Toho Lamac Trims Mid-Year Losses as Revenue Inches Up

Toho Lamac Co. Ltd. reported a net loss of 7 million yen for the six months ending June 20, marking a narrowing from the 13 million yen loss recorded during the same period last year. Despite the improved bottom line, the Japanese firm continues to face pressure on its pretax earnings.

Toho Lamac Trims Mid-Year Losses as Revenue Inches Up

The company’s revenue saw a modest increase, climbing to 2.44 billion yen from 2.39 billion yen a year earlier. Operating losses also shrank to 11 million yen, compared to the 29 million yen deficit reported in 2025. However, pretax profit took a hit, widening to a loss of 53 million yen from 11 million yen previously.

Losses per share for the period reached 1.39 yen, an improvement over the 2.56 yen loss per share seen in the prior year. Toho Lamac maintains its dividend strategy, with midyear and year-end payouts both set at 5.70 yen, bringing the total forecasted annual dividend to 11.40 yen. These figures were prepared in accordance with Japanese accounting standards.
