Operating profit saw a notable increase, rising to 1.76 billion yen from 1.26 billion yen. Pretax profit followed a similar trajectory, climbing to 1.91 billion yen from 1.35 billion yen.

Shareholders saw a direct impact from these performance gains, as earnings per share rose to 20.37 yen from 14.62 yen in the previous fiscal year's opening quarter.
