Tokyo Kaikan Posts Modest Profit Growth for First Quarter

Tokyo Kaikan reported a net profit of 313 million yen for the first quarter ending June 30, marking an increase from the 293 million yen recorded during the same period last year. The Japanese hospitality firm managed this bottom-line growth despite a slight dip in operating profit.

Tokyo Kaikan Posts Modest Profit Growth for First Quarter

Revenue for the quarter climbed to 4.09 billion yen, up from 4.07 billion yen a year earlier. While top-line figures showed marginal improvement, operating profit contracted to 383 million yen from the previous year’s 403 million yen. Pretax profit, however, rose to 457 million yen compared to 441 million yen in 2025.

Earnings per share reached 94.95 yen, climbing from 88.98 yen. Looking ahead, the company has projected a year-end dividend of 50 yen per share, an increase over the 45 yen paid out for the previous annual period. These financial results were prepared in accordance with Japanese accounting standards.
