The investigation, led by Hagens Berman, centers on claims that Erasca executives painted a deceptive picture of the company’s competitive standing. According to the complaint, the firm allegedly utilized flawed preclinical data to claim superiority over rival therapies, including those developed by Revolution Medicines. Investors were reportedly left in the dark regarding looming patent infringement and trade secret misappropriation claims that threatened the very foundation of the company’s intellectual property.
Confidence in the stock cratered on April 27, 2026, when the company finally disclosed the legal challenge from Revolution Medicines alongside reports of a patient death during clinical trials. Reed Kathrein, a partner at Hagens Berman, stated the firm is examining whether these risks were intentionally suppressed to maintain an artificial stock price. Investors who held shares between January 14, 2025, and April 26, 2026, have until August 10, 2026, to file for lead plaintiff status in the ongoing litigation.
