He takes over the role from John Burke, who held the position on an interim basis during the company's recent transition.

CEO Carol Craig noted that Khalili’s arrival aligns with Sidus Space’s push to advance its Fortis VPX digital mission computing platform and increase recurring revenue. For his part, Khalili intends to focus on the financial discipline required to convert the company’s vertically integrated satellite and AI offerings into sustained growth, working directly with the board to execute long-term strategic objectives.
