VT Markets Launches Global Gold Cup Trading Competition

With global sports fever serving as the backdrop, multi-asset broker VT Markets has unveiled the Gold Cup 2026, a high-stakes trading competition offering a prize pool of up to USD 200,000. The event invites traders worldwide to compete for cash rewards and an exclusive invitation to an Island Finale.

Running from 3 August to 13 September 2026, the regional series ranks participants by their Total Profit Percentage, a metric designed to emphasize strategic growth over initial capital. Leaderboards update hourly, tracking top performers who demonstrate the skill required to secure both monetary prizes and a spot in the final round.

To qualify, traders must maintain a net deposit of at least USD 1,000 and complete a cumulative volume of 10 lots. The rules strictly prohibit withdrawals or internal transfers during the campaign to ensure ranking stability, and all positions must be held for a minimum of five minutes. Participants are required to open a live account and complete KYC verification through the broker's client portal. As an incentive, the first 100 entrants in each region will receive a USD 10 trading credit.
