Eisenbud arrives at a critical juncture for the company, which aims to displace conventional HVAC systems with its proprietary Dedicated Outdoor Air System. The technology promises a 40% reduction in energy consumption, a metric the company hopes will resonate with building owners facing mounting pressure to curb carbon emissions and grid dependency. CEO Sorin Grama emphasized the need for seasoned commercial leadership to transition the startup from engineering innovation to widespread market adoption.

Throughout his career, Eisenbud has specialized in turning experimental clean energy tech into bankable, large-scale operations. His track record includes a tenure at SunPower, where he generated over $130 million in revenue, and a recent role at DSD Renewables, where he oversaw $250 million in project transactions. At Transaera, he will manage customer engagement, strategic partnerships, and the scaling of commercialization efforts. The company, founded by MIT engineers, views his arrival as a key step in moving its advanced materials-based cooling solutions from laboratory development to global commercial infrastructure.
