The visit centered on direct engagement with vulnerable populations, including a stop at the Suleiman Center. Co-founded by Dr. Omar Suleiman, the orphanage currently houses fifteen families. Al-Shaair spent his time there distributing food, participating in sing-alongs, and playing soccer with the children on local turf fields. Beyond the orphanage, he joined the HDF team to assist children displaced from Gaza as they received new prosthetic limbs, an effort aimed at addressing long-term physical rehabilitation.

Al-Shaair’s journey also included a high-energy skills exchange with Jordan’s national rugby team, though his focus remained on the personal narratives of those he met. Reflecting on his own upbringing by a single mother of eight, the linebacker remarked that he would endure his past struggles a hundred times over for the opportunity to share a meal and listen to the experiences of the families he encountered in the desert. This trip, organized under the HDF Witness initiative, highlights the organization's ongoing humanitarian footprint across more than 30 countries.
