Iran Fortifies Kharg Island Terminal Amid Persistent U.S. Threats

Iran Fortifies Kharg Island Terminal Amid Persistent U.S. Threats

Abbas Assadrouz, head of the Iranian Oil Terminals Co., stated that current projects prioritize equipment reliability and fire detection systems to ensure the continuity of exports. Maritime intelligence firm Windward reported that 24 'dark tankers' were anchored in the vicinity as of Sunday, an increase from 21 the previous day. Among the vessels identified via satellite imagery were a massive 320-meter carrier alongside two smaller tankers.
